COVID-19 – Waste Management Services

PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE PUTTING YOUR BIN ON CURBSIDE!

How we will keep waste services going during the COVID-19 situation:

1. We will be lifting the lid of the dustbins and only collect bags, which are knotted.
2. We will handle the dustbins at a minimum for your safety and ours
3. We will not be collecting any recycling products, as this requires intensive handling with sorting at our depot, rather discard with the normal run of collection. This is an unnecessary dangerous risk.
4. Please reduce the raw food products from your kitchen, rather discard this in your garden if possible or double close this in smaller bags.
5. We will not collect any grass during this time since we need the extra space for essential household waste rubbish. Our workers need to return to their homes ASAP after work.
6. Please ensure your children’s safety by not allowing them to follow trucks with their bicycles, running next to the trucks or playing with balls/toys in the road.
7. Please rinse your bins with a detergent of your choice BUT DO NOT USE JAYES FLUID!
8. We will not be entering any Body Corporate(s) to individually retrieve dustbins! Your safety counts! BRING YOUR DUSTBIN TO CURBSIDE
